2011 Kia Forte Five-Door - Three is a Charm

http://www.rpmgo.com/images/2010/2011_kia_forte_hatchback01.jpg

Korean automaker Kia has found much success in its compact Forte line, due to sedan and coupe body styles prized for its good looks, fun to drive capabilities and value. Knowing that it has a good thing going for it, Kia has rolled out a third body style, a five-door hatchback, just in time for the 2011 model year.

Third Choice

The latest Forte bridges what the sedan and coupe have to offer. With plenty of storage capacity and the good looks to go with it, the hatchback will likely make it difficult for shoppers to decide which Forte they want. Each body style offers distinct advantages although the hatchback just may provide a happy middle ground for shoppers.

Officially known as the Forte five-door, this body style features a new grille, alloy wheels, lower valence design, updated center console, paddle shifters, push-button start and navigation as well as the fifth-door for hatch compartment access. Otherwise, the five-door shares all other components and features of the coupe and sedan.

Powertrain Options

The Forte five-door is available with two four-cylinder engines: a 2.0-liter or a 2.4-liter; each of which can be paired with either a new six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Yes, Kia is attempting to one-up its competitors by offering transmission choices not common to this segment.

When asked about its aggressive marketing strategy including the release of eight new models in just two years, Michael Sprague, vice-president of Kia marketing offered, "We have been promoting the Kia brand evolution over the past few years and backed it up with dramatic gains in quality and value while adding world-class design every step of the way." Those changes haven't been lost on consumers as Kia along with Hyundai and Subaru were the only manufacturers to enjoy a sales gain for 2009 in the U.S.

Generous Warranty

Kia's generous warranty program provides industry best consumer protection. Included with this program are a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, a five-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty and a five-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty. A five-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan is also part of the vehicle coverage.

Yes, that means Kia believes in its product line and is backing it up with a warranty to match. With new cars in the mix, good value offered and a top-notch warranty, you may want to consider Kia especially its smart-looking Forte portfolio.

2011 570-4 Superleggera Specifications

http://www.gotbroken.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/2010-Lamborghini-Gallardo-LP-570-4-Superleggera-Front-Side-588x441.jpg

In this economic system many automakers are having a tricky time trying to push out enough inventory during the year. One that is able to get by with very little problems is Lamborghini. For years they have turned out models that are both fantastic and rare. This is attractive to anyone who is able to afford to spend over $100,000.

The new 2011 LP 570-4 Superleggera is the hottest supercar to be released and it is in all probability the best Gallardo that we have seen from them so far. In order for it to be the greatest it must be lighter than all the previous models up to now. In true fashion it managed to lose 154 pounds by using carbon fiber, polycarbonate, and an aluminum body shell. It now weighs in at 2,954 pounds.

The loss in weight would be unusable if they did not increase the engine power and output. The original Superleggera was given a 5.0 liter V10 that could push out 530 horsepower. The 2011 model is designed with a direct injected 5.2 liter that forces out 570 horsepower and 398 pound feet of torque. With this much power it can go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and is given a top speed of 202 mph.

A serious supercar has two main properties; power and luxury. This is part of what helps to make them so unusual and rare gems to see driving on the road. The new Gallardo has already proven that it has the power and the interior is more than uxuiorus for even the most enthusiastic fan. Carbon fiber is utilized on the center tunnel cover door panels and gear level. The alcantara upholstery is used throughout the cabin and over the seats.

Other features that Lamborghini utilized include; sports AC, rear camera, satellite navigation system, and electric windows. At this time no price has been given.

The new Lamborghini Superleggera has more power than what we are used to. Discover more information on the Lamborghini Supercar and what new things to expect.

2011 Volkswagen Jetta

http://www.goodcleantech.com/2010_Volkswagen_Jetta_SportWagen.jpg

Volkswagen enthusiasts are waiting with eagerness as the all-new Jetta goes into production and hits the dealer room floor in the coming months. Since its introduction in the mid-1980s, the Jetta has stood out from other compact models thanks to its design, engine choices and dependability. But the sixth generation model is likely to be perceived as the best, offering improved cabin room, a sleek style and class leading fuel economy.

Best Seller

Jetta is the best selling Volkswagen model, easily outselling the Golf/Rabbit and the only compact car built in Germany and sold in the United States within the financial range of the masses. No, the Jetta isn't a Mercedes or BMW, but it does offer craftsmanship and more upscale cabin then the typical car in its class.

The Jetta isn't likely to challenge the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic for sales, but it easily bests these two cars in powertrain choices and amenities offered.

For the 2011, the Jetta gains a more rakish roofline and a crisper nose and tail. Inside, rear seating room tops 38 cubic inches, comparable to what some midsize cars offer. Still a compact, Volkswagen has done everything to keep the Jetta at the top of the segment's pack, while lowering its price. Yes, the base sticker price of the Jetta is about $16,000, just above the price of the Corolla and Civic.

Engine Choices

But what sets the Jetta apart from everyone else is what can be found under the hood. Volkswagen may not win the price war, but they certainly take top honors when it comes to powertrain selection. Four engines are offered including the potent 2.5-liter five-cylinder and 2.0-liter TSI. No other car in its class offers a diesel, with the 2.0-liter TDI likely to once again offer highway fuel economy well north of 40 mpg.

Take note of this: with the new 2.0-liter TDI and 2.0-liter TSI, Volkswagen will offer a six-speed DSG - what the automaker says is "...one of the most advanced and efficient automatic transmission systems in the world." You'd be hard-pressed to find a six-speed anything in this class; an unusual auto trends at that.

Cabin Changes

Back inside, the Jetta gains a new steering wheel design, with ergomatically situated controls. On the console, controls for audio, climate and navigation have been repositioned; indeed, the entire console is tilted toward the driver. Rear seating improvements include a folding 40/60 seatback, while the rear liftback opens with a remote unlock switch.

Safety remains high up on the Jetta's list of important features, with six airbags standard, stability control and what will likely be high marks in crash tests.

Will you put the Volkswagen Jetta on your compact car buying list? You should or, even if you prefer a midsize this model, this car may give you what you want thanks to its roomy interior, ample storage and class-leading engine choices. Yes, Volkswagen has arguably the best compact car on the market, a new improved Jetta with good looks, solid engineering and driving fun to go with it.

2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe

http://image.motortrend.com/f/auto-shows/cadillac-cts-coupe-concept-breaking-the-rules/8152119%2Bw700%2Bcr1%2Bre0%2Bar1/cadillac-cts-coupe-concept-rear.jpg

European and Asian luxury car manufacturers need to watch out. The all-new for 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe is a beastly beauty, an absolute head turner and the latest model in the vaunted CTS portfolio. The most recent iteration of this car goes on sale late this summer, the clearest demonstration of Cadillac's art and science design scheme in all of its chiseled glory.

Concept Coupe

I'm biased when it comes to this model because I was on hand at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit when the concept of this coupe was rolled out. Its striking design captivated the audience, especially its non-existent B-pillar. Safety considerations required slight changes to the coupe's appearance since then, with a very discreet B-pillar added in. Other than that, the original beauty we saw way back when is what consumers can now buy.

Cadillac is central to GM's recovery plans with the CTS portfolio driving the brand's success. With sedans, sports wagons and coupes now part of the line up, this mid-size Cadillac line offers a worthy challenge to competing brands including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti and Acura. Yes, Cadillac easily bests Lincoln with the CTS, providing a strong American built line able to take on the world's best production cars.

Powerful Engine

A standard direct-injected 3.6-liter V-6 engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, featuring a revised clutch and dual-mass flywheel that Cadillac says offers better clutch pedal feel and improved engine isolation. Optionally, CTS buyers can select a six-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control (and available steering wheel mounted shift buttons). Significantly, the Coupe's final drive ratio is 3.73:1, up from the 3.42:1 ratio of other CTS models, allowing for more responsive acceleration.

Because handling is a critically important aspect for the Coupe, GM is offering a pair of suspension-tuning levels with the CTS. Standard is the Performance Package with 18-inch wheels and all-season tires (available in both rear- and all-wheel-drive), and the Summer Tire Performance Package, with 19-inch tires and wheels and a higher level of road-hugging ability. Stability control is standard across the CTS model line.

Cabin Amenities

Important amenities offered include a 40-gig hard drive, featuring the ability to store music and pause-and-replay live radio; iPod/MP3 capability; OnStar; navigation system; Bluetooth connectivity; keyless access; rear camera unit; Bose audio system and adaptive lighting.

Safety features are offered in abundance and include front and side airbags and side curtain airbags; tire pressure monitoring unit; and a stronger body structure with high grade steel strategically placed to afford better protection.

Just like the other CTS body styles, a V-Series version of the Coupe will be made available later this year. Powered by a 6.2-liter tuned Corvette V-8 engine, this car will bang out 556 horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque, an amazing feat for a simply dazzling sport coupe.

The 2011 Ford Mustang GT V8 Cars

http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/2011_ford_mustang_gt_gets_5.0_liter_v8_480x280.jpg

Ford has given the American muscle car scene a new lease of life with the imminent release of the new 2011 Mustang V8 cars.

The heart of the new model Ford Mustang just has to be the V8 engine. It is a return to the 5.0-liter capacity that is so inspiring.

It is a 5.0-liter quad cam all alloy V8 that can rev to 7000rpm (previous engine was 6500rpm). The 2011 Mustang GT will be in an excellent position to challenge those in the Chevrolet camp, such as the Camaro or the Dodge Challenger. They of course must persist with the Chevrolet 6 litre all alloy OHV (still OHV).

The new Ford engine will also have such features as Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (known as Ti-VCT) and is expected to deliver 412HP and 390FT.LB of torque.

To support this new V8 engined Mustang muscle car are two new gearboxes, a six speed automatic and a six speed manual.

The rear suspension will also come in for some upgrades, along with the option of a Brembo brake upgrade, summer performance tires and a set of 19-inch alloys.

And when you look at the engine it is the sexiest looking Mustang GT V8 production engine since the BOSS 429.

In closing we can see that the new 5.0-liter engine is the next phase in the world class Mustang GT power train development. It is a modern engine thoroughly developed delivering both fun and performance to the enthusiast.

Also it does all of the above whilst bring benefits in improved fuel economy, V8 American muscle cars are here to stay.

Future Car - 2011 Chevrolet Cruze

http://www.dieselstation.com/pics/2011-Chevrolet-Cruze-car-picture.jpg

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD-JQxP7oW2cOZrGU04E8WPraC-EtK8XHcYcI9YFIvKTcTNZag4vSyWJHdnsqSXx4E49UswzrAYI2WR8Q4_ioO0lmhDoyQLjeqFftsk5623fNKzah6GP3fQMBT4PdpFGSX4rEp43vK9Wc/s1600/2011-chevrolet-cruze_100190736_m.jpg

General Motors (GM) has been absolutely transparent when it comes to new product reveals, choosing to show as much as they can about a future product even before it goes into production. This move on GM's part is meant to shore up consumer and shareholder confidence, offering proof that the automaker is heading in the right direction by building smaller, much more fuel efficient vehicles.

Introducing The Chevy Cruze

One of the cars that will influence GM for years to come is the Chevrolet Cruze (pronounced cruise) a compact car slightly larger than the current Chevy Cobalt. Originally, it appeared that GM would replace the Cobalt with the Cruze, but after the August 2008 press reveal in Lordstown, Ohio, management has indicated that the Cobalt may soldier on as a separate model.

Regardless of where GM stands with the Cobalt, the Cruze is the car that could make or break the automaker when it goes on sale in Europe beginning in Spring 2009 followed by its US debut one year later. Though the US model will probably have a slightly different powertrain offering than what the European market will see, GM says that the Cruze will still get at least 40 mpg on the highway. Not bad for a gasoline model, putting it in the diminutive Smart Fortwo's territory while delivering a bigger and safer car.

Excellent Engine, Transmission Choices Means 40+ MPG Highway

GM says that the Cruze will be available with 16-valve, 1.6-liter (112 hp) and 1.8-liter (140 hp) gasoline engines featuring variable valve timing (VVT) on both inlet and exhaust sides. This will give the car additional power as well as better fuel economy while producing lower emissions. The automaker's new 2.0-liter turbo diesel, developing 150 hp will add more power with even greater fuel thriftiness. A five-speed manual transmission will be standard, but an optional six-speed automatic transmission will round out the Cruze's offerings. The latter transmission choice is unusual in that it'll be the first time that a six-speed transmission is used in the compact car class.

Interior styling is still a bit of a mystery, one that GM plans to talk more about when the car officially makes its debut at the Paris Auto Show in September 2008. Seating for as many as five occupants is likely, with optimum capacity for four adults.

Will customers be attracted to the Cruze? That remains to be seen but with its arching roof-line and coupe-like proportions, the Cruze certainly has a sporty flair, something lacking in most cars of its size.

Look for the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze to appear in North American Chevy showrooms by Summer 2010.

2011 Ford Mustang

The new V6 is a smaller 3.7 L (227 cu. in.) aluminum block engine weighing 40 lb (18 kg) lighter than the outgoing version. The engine produces 305 hp (227 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. Ford announced on December 28, 2009 that the 2011 Mustang GT would feature a 5.0 liter (302 cu. in.) engine displacement that will produce 412 horsepower and 390 ft/lbs of torque on "premium fuel" (gasoline with a pump octane rating of 93); on "regular fuel" (gasoline with a pump octane rating of 87), these numbers fall to 402 hp (300 kW) and 377 lb·ft (511 N·m).

The power and performance that the 2011 Mustang GT puts out is largely due to the new Ford 5.0-liter V8 “Coyote” engine. The Coyote is a 32 valve (4 valves per cylinder) with Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT).

These cams will control intake and exhaust functions of the vehicle which will maximize combustion and ultimately power. The transmission can be bought in a 6 speed automatic or manual (up from the previous 5 speed transmission).

The innovative Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) removes the conventional hydraulic power steering pump. The system does not use belts previously required for steering, thus drive train horsepower loss is decreased. An optional Brembo brake upgrade is available.

These brakes essentially come from the Shelby GT-500 and this the first time they will be offered on the Mustang. In addition to the upgraded brake package, Ford will throw in a pair of 19” wheels and performance tires.

The Shelby GT500's 5.4L block is now made out of aluminum, instead of iron as in previous years, and is now rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 510 lb·ft (690 N·m) of torque. Due to being made of aluminum instead of iron, the new block is 102 lb (46 kg) lighter than the old one, which helps to improve fuel economy, acceleration, handling, and steering precision.
